Rainbow Pt. Bryce Canyon
View from Rainbow Point at Bryce Canyon, UtahI love the way the evergreen trees are framed by the gap in this orange rock at Rainbow Point in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah. The air is crisp and clear and you can hear the wind tearing through the trees as you feel it stinging your chilled face. It always amazes me how a photograph can show exactly how a scene looked and at the same time, can be a bit deceiving as to how the scene felt. I could have used a slow shutter speed to illustrate how the trees were blowing in the stiff wind, but I prefer the still, silent look. If I remembered the cold too much, I may not be as eager to return to the scene of the image which is something that I really would like to do someday.
