I was able to capture this sunset by the providence of God and due to the kindness of strangers. The first couple images were taken just before the steering of our boat went out and then, even though there was four inches of gas left in the tank, that stopped going where it needed to go too. We were stuck and were going to need to pull/paddle our way to shore.

Fortunately for us, an amazing group of people saw our kids waving them down. They gave up their sunset ride to their campsite and towed us back to the ramp where our car was parked.

These pictures represent the beauty I got to behold during that tow. We would not have experienced this sunset if we hadn't have broken down, because we would have been busy pulling the boat out of the lake and driving home. So, I for one, am grateful for the extra moments of peace and time to watch the fiery sky. My Dad, who, as of this writing, is still repairing the boat, may think differently.

Enjoy!
