I took this picture in Breckenridge, CO while hiking on a path. We came across a pond made by beavers. Past the damn, the water trickled out in a stream slowly. In the middle of the stream, I noticed this ripple. I had to walk to the center of the stream on some pretty precarious, and slippery rocks to get to the point where I could stand above this ripple to photograph it.

Even though this print is pretty small, I took it to a show that I was participating in and hung it in my space to fill a gap that was left by another piece. This print ended up winning a ribbon even though it was competing against much larger and intricately framed pieces.

I will point out that the matt on this piece was hand cut by me when I was first learning to cut matts and it is a bit skewed. The price has been adjusted accordingly.
