AnsweredPrayer

My daughter and I recently visited my sister in Chicago. It was early November and though it was much colder there than it was at our home in Arizona, it was too warm to snow. My daughter, however, was undaunted. She prayed for snow and believed that she would get her request. We've always encouraged our kids to ask God for their hearts desires and they know the power of prayer. Every now and then I find myself doubting that they will get a positive answer to their prayer, what still seems so easy to them can seem impossible to me. When will I learn that all things are possible with God? Sure enough, my daughter got her request and Chicago got it's first accumlative snowfall of the season, about a month before anyone expected it. This picture was taken as soon as the snow started to stick, my daughter hadn't even seen it yet. Needless to say, she was thrilled when we got to go out and play in the snow. She mostly wanted to eat the snow and we made a very small snowman before she was too cold to remain outside. This picture reminds me that God cares about the things that are important to us.
