I processed this image to look as if it were raining. It wasn't a tall order, since shortly after this picture was taken, it was doing just that. It even went on to snow after that.


I don't know what it is about an empty bench that begs me to photograph it, but I have a hard time passing them by when I have a camera in hand. It's something about the view they have and the things they see. The fact that they aren't in a rush to be anywhere or do anything. They just sit and take it all in while welcoming bypassers to join them in their rest. The seem to invite us to lay down our cares and sit peacefully for a while as we gaze at God's creation.
