This staircase resides at the Huntington Library in Pasadena, California. In reality, it has metal railings that outline both sides of the stairs. I removed those for a more ethereal look. The original was photographed with black and white infrared film. I scanned it into the computer and colored it in Photoshop.

This was printed on watercolor paper and sprayed with sealer for a more matte watercolor look.
