Bryce Canyon Rainbow Point

Bryce Canyon Rainbow Point

For years I wanted to visit Bryce Canyon in Utah. Somehow I managed to miss all of the trips that my parents took there. When they got home, I was always amazed by their pictures and hoped for the day that I would get to photograph it myself. Bryce Canyon looked like an alien planet to me. That day finally came! My parents took my whole family with them on a trip to several of the national parks in Arizona and Utah. As I had expected, Bryce Canyon was my favorite! We started at the highest overlook, Rainbow Point, and worked our way down the canyon. It was phenomenal! The ground at Rainbow Point was covered in snow and the wind that came from over the canyon was crisp and cold. Even though our kids were all bundled up, they were "freezing", I guess that's what happens when you take a child from Arizona into the snow. Anyway, our stay at the top was short lived, but even in those breif moments, I managed to take several pictures that I will cherish forever.
