I photographed an event at my neice's school in Chicago this year. Part of my prep work included filling some sand bags. As we headed over to get sand, my nephew fell asleep in the car. Because of this, I got a few minutes to take some pictures at a local beach, thank you Lucien.

It always amazes me that this is a lake and not an ocean. The water goes on and on. My daughter asked who lived on the other side, she was sure the other side must be in China.

Lake Michigan is the only one of the five Great Lakes that is located entirely in the United States of America. It is bordered by Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.
