MichiganWaves

There is just something about a cold day that brings out the bluest skies. This day was no exception. It was so cold, that even walking out to the beach was a huge effort. The wind blowing in off of Lake Michigan was icy and the sand below my feet was frozen, seriously frozen. Until this day, I didn't realize that sand could freeze, now I know for a fact, that it can. The walk was worth it though. The sun was hitting the water in all the right places to make the reflections of the clouds pop. I really enjoy the segmentation of this image and how there are three very seperate rows from the clouds to the reflections on the wet, sandy beach. Yet, even with the three sections, all contain horizontal lines that hold the image together.
