Whispering Aspen Trees Before the Storm
In this green forest grove there seem to be two groups of aspen trees divided down the middle. They are lined up whispering to one another, maybe about the incoming storm clouds, maybe about the pine trees in their midst. Their green summer leaves rustle as the treetops sway in the wind. The forest floor is covered in painterly fern plants that keep the ground moist and cool and other than the hushed voices of the trees, not a sound is heard on this summer afternoon.
