Now this is a secret garden! It invites you to spend a lazy afternoon laying around on it's lush grass, enjoying the beauty of the weeping willows as a summer breeze chases all your cares away. Located in the Japanese Garden at the Huntington Library in Pasadena, California, this hidden retreat is the site of several movie scenes. The grounds here are phenomenal. Quiet and serene, the atmosphere is one of restful peace. Although there are generally several other people visiting, there is seldom much noise. Everyone seems to automatically respect the tranquility of the garden and voices are kept at a hushed whisper, this is especially true of the zen rock garden at the top of the garden staircase. This pond is home to several koi and just on the other side of this draping, weeping willow, there is a foot bridge that crosses and decorates it, all at the same time.
