We missed the traditional turn off, and instead were led down a well maintained, dirt road to find this other worldly view. We couldn't believe the wonder this landscape invoked in us. The ground felt like moon sand beneath our feet and my heart skipped more than one beat every time my children ventured too close to the edge for my comfort.
